I love a big wedding just as much as the next girl, but there's a soft place in my heart for intimate elopements, especially when they're as charming and beautiful as this one, captured by Niagara wedding photographer, Jesse James Photography. Meagan from Weddings Tied With Lace coordinated this sweet soiree and designed the bridal bouquet (is there anything this girl can't do?), and this lovely private ceremony was officiated by Cathy of Kettle Creek Weddings.
Kathryn and Steve reached out to me about eloping in Niagara Falls after trying to plan a big wedding back home. They decided they wanted to have the most simple ceremony and celebrate being together. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the idea of eloping but personally, I love it. Two people who want nothing more than to marry each other. They want it to be beautiful and meaningful, but they aren't concerned about all of the details or having to impress anyone. All they want is to marry their best friend. How romantic is that?
Kathryn and Steven were married at the Oakes Garden Theatre in Niagara Falls. They wanted a beautiful garden ceremony, and that is what they got!
