A short description of what you do: I work with couples and families who want to be joined together and rekindle romance, without having the stress of planning it all! I help them by creating an unforgettable journey with tropical destinations that create memories that will last a lifetime!

How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 3 years as a Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Travel Specialist.

What makes your business unique? What separates me from other Travel Consultants? Weddings, honeymoons, and groups is my expertise, and I guarantee I can exceed your expectations. I will also ensure your precious travel dollars and hours are spent as wisely as possible!

I understand the importance of tiny details that contribute to this special day, and I will take care of all aspects to allow couples to relax, focus on each other, enjoy and celebrate this special day with style, elegance, and grace with the ones you love! I also have a Free Honeymoon Registry that you can sign up for that can be shared with your wedding guests, bridal parties, stag and does. This can be used for Destination Wedding Packages, money toward your honeymoon, excursions, special meals, upgrades, etc.

Favourite part of your business? I enjoy getting to know my clients and building long-term relationships with them. I love to know that I have connected families together to create the most beautiful memories that they will cherish for a lifetime!

What inspires you? What inspires me is knowing I had helped planned and created wedding dreams come into reality for my couples! I love to hear how they found the process so easy and stress-free. I also love hearing and seeing all their beautiful pictures that capture that beautiful day that will forever remember and knowing that I will continue working with them, their family and friends for any travel arrangements that may come up!

Who is your mentor/hero in the industry (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry)?  Being a member of the Vineyard Bride has introduced me to some of the most talented wedding vendors around in the Niagara Region and knowing I can contact them for other special services that can enhance the wedding experience for my couples in a destination.

On your day off...where would we find you? Days off you can find me either traveling the world to keep myself updated with the resorts and wedding venues that our amazing suppliers reserve,  I love to dance so you may even catch me on a dance floor with my sisters and friends!  I also am a mom of 2 very active handsome boys. My oldest is a member of the 'Burlington Teen Tour Band' so you may find me chaperoning events and going on tour with them.

If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? I have always had an interest in Travel. If I wasn't specializing as a wedding vendor I still would be in the travel industry as I love to enrich my soul with new adventures and experience life and different cultures.

What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? Hottest trends are all about the colour and this year it's ultraviolet. Make ultraviolet the centerpiece of your ceremony; sand ceremonies are a beautiful addition to your destination wedding and a touching symbolization of your two lives becoming one. Incorporate colour into your sand ceremony using violet-coloured sand or better yet, different shades of violet-coloured sand. The combined sand can then be corked in a bottle and taken home as a memento of your big day.

Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? If your planning a destination wedding the most important thing to figure out is which destination and resort you would like. Please keep in mind that resorts are booking 1 year in advance and may have a limited amount of weddings they do per day.
