We are throwing back to a winter in wine country editorial from this time last year. We love it just as much now as we did then!
“The inspiration for this Northern Wine Country Winter Wonderland shoot is the Niagara Region, it’s ice wine and the history of this great region. This is a wild back-country, frontier-infused styled shoot mixed with modern romance.”

“Wedding photos from Ball’s Falls most often feature the gorgeous barns, church, and outbuildings, but should one walk deeper into the forest, the mill ruins and ancient moss-covered monolithic standing stones are spectacular…it is absolutely magical. The colour pallet is ice blue, gold, blush, and deep wine.
Given that we were in wine country, I wanted wild grapes to be a detailed feature in the bouquet and the styling. The golden leaves and dark blue-purple berries of the wild grapevine stained the snow a deep wine colour and beautifully mirrored and vignetted the deep blue-black and gold grapevine stationary. Laid out alongside 19th-century blue and gold organza wedding shoes, a silk blue and gold ribbon, golden vintage tray, and modern wedding bands, every element glisten against the backdrop of the freshly fallen snow. “
