On a chilly day in November, among beautiful gardens and stunning orchards, two people came together to celebrate their love story. After months of planning an Ontario wedding provinces away from the location, two of Lindsay Plank Events’ closest friends finally had the day they had been dreaming of.

Tracy and Daniel lived in Newfoundland. But the couple knew the look they were searching for when it came to choosing a wedding venue. And in the end, the couple selected a beautiful winery venue. They settled on a Bellamere winery wedding, and it couldn’t have fit their love story more perfectly!

The couple added in splashes of Dr. Who for the groom. Daniel’s tie and his socks were both themed after his favourite TV show. Part of their favour selection was a tucked personalized, blue Tardis cookies into each place setting’s napkin.

And Daniel came to Lindsay before the big day to ask about his wedding gift to Tracy. Not only did Lindsay have great ideas from my years as a wedding planner, but found helped find the perfect gift for her best friend.

In the end, Daniel gave Tracy’s favourite bottle of perfume, and to make it perfect for them, he had one of their favourite quotes from Dr. Who engraved on it!

One of the most special moments of Tracy and Daniel’s day was the time spent with Tracy and her father. She wanted to make sure there was carved out time on her itinerary to carry on their lifelong tradition of helping him tie his tie. Lindsay Plank Events’ created plenty of space in their wedding day timeline so the bride could spend that one on one time with her dad. She tied his tie just like she’s always done since she was a little girl. And her wedding photographer was able to catch that magical moment for her to keep for years to come!

Tracy and Lindsay met in 2018 when she moved up to Newfoundland with Daniel. He was getting his bachelor’s degree, and she went with him. As fate would have it, they moved into the apartment right below Lindsay’s.

Not only were they next door neighbours, Tracy and Lindsay also ended up working at the same place! They became fast friends instantly, and the rest? Well, we all can just call that history.

Tracy and Daniel wanted to make sure they were living in the present moment, instead of having to worry about coordinating all of the vendor and timeline logistics. That’s where Lindsay Plank Events stepped in!

So they were able to enjoy their family and friends – and their choreographed dance (which had us all dancing in our seats, too)!

Lindsay Plank Events’ loves every single one of her couples that she has the privilege of working with. But Tracy and Daniel’s wedding holds a special place in her heart because Tracy and Lindsay are best friends!
