With the joy of warmer days upon us, today felt like the perfect day to share this fresh editorial session planned by Swish List member and wedding planner Amanda Cowley Events.

The inspiration for our Oak Hall editorial came about as the subdued colour palette of fall revealed itself in that magical transition period between summer + autumn. The landscape goes back to muted pinks, mauves, creams, and, berry, set against a fresh green backdrop of foliage that slowly changes as the weather gets cooler, bringing with it an air of Spring that I am always thankful for late in the year.
In order to celebrate that fleeting feeling, we decided to showcase our colour palette at the forefront and soften the background details: the table setting, wardrobe, hair + makeup, even the venue, and as a result, nothing feels too rich or too bold. It’s feminine, organic, fresh, and just, lovely.
