I really didn't think it was possible for one wedding to be so utterly perfect, but these newlyweds--along with their rockstar list of Niagara wedding vendors--hit it out of the park in every way. In fact, it took me three times as long to write this post because I was too busy swooning over these spectacular photos, captured by Morgan Falk Photography, to get down to business.
Oh, and since we're already chatting, allow me to emphasize how flawless all the elements of this wedding truly are, from the flowers by Fleurish Design Studio, Julia's gorgeous locks styled by Be.You.Tiful.Brides, and the wedding coordination by Jenny from A Divine Affair that made it all go off without a hitch. Don't miss the complete vendor list at the bottom of the post!
Andrew and I met nearly ten years ago in our first year of university. He was a country boy from Niagara and I was a city-girl from Dubai; we couldn’t have come from more different worlds, yet we are perfect for each other. When we began planning the wedding, the most important thing we wanted was for our wedding to be a reflection of the love that we share between us and our families.
It was important that we had the ceremony and reception at a place that was meaningful to the both of us and significant in our relationship. Though we looked at several venues, the perfect spot was right in front of us - Andrew’s parent’s property in Niagara-on-Lake known as Seven Oaks. It is in the heart of wine country and an ideal setting for a romantic outdoor wedding.
We also wanted to bring in some old country charm so we had lovely antique décor from Happily Ever After Events and beautiful floral arrangements in soft whites, pinks, and greens by Fleurish.
There were several mini personal DIY touches that added pretty details to the wedding. My wonderful bridesmaids helped create customized program fans, beautiful gift boxes filled with sweets, place settings, menus, table numbers, and our seating chart.
On the day of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day to get married. Walking down the aisle toward the love of my life, surrounded by family and friends was the greatest and emotionally overwhelming experiences in my life. I had my dad walking next to me and Andrew’s dad was standing next to him ready to marry us as the officiant.
After the ceremony, while our guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and live music, we snuck away to take photos around the property and capture the beauty of the area. During the reception, we had a blast laughing and crying throughout the speeches, dances, and slide show. Our wedding coordinator, Jennie from A Divine Affair was keeping a watchful eye on the clock so we didn’t miss a beat. After cutting the wedding cake, we ended the night with a brilliant display of fireworks. Nothing could have topped kissing my husband under a sea of sparkling lights.
The beautiful wedding photos by Morgan Falk and amazing wedding video by Dave Tebutt allowed us to re-live the day over and over again. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
