The goal of this session was to create a moody shoot that captures the colours of a late fall day; that Dark November sky that could bring snow or rain, the crispy leaves that have turned beyond their fall colour to an ashen grey, churning dark water at the beaches edge a bit foreboding - all a bit intriguing.

Nature reclaiming the area where buildings once stood with dry reeds and moss, we chose Waverly Beach as our location. With its industrial-like ruins of an old amusement park and crumbling memories of an old dance hall, a large ferry dock, and swimming pools spotted throughout the site, the spot provided the perfect backdrop for our shoot.
