Still looking for beauty services for your big day? Well, you’re in luck! We had the loveliest time getting to know new Swish List member Lianne, of The Bridal Glam Co.!

A short description of what you do: We are a full service, mobile bridal beauty company offering on-site luxury makeup and hair services for the bride and her bridal party.

How long have you been working in the wedding industry? 6 years.

What makes your business unique? We offer a luxury bridal beauty service for our clients. Premium mink lashes, and hydrating eye masks are included complimentary for all of our brides, and we strictly use high-end professional makeup brands. We also take a little extra time with each service performed, ensuring every client has proper attention and they get exactly the look they want.

Favourite part of your business? Creating art and meeting new people! Being creative doing something I love, and getting to meet a new bride each week and hearing their unique love story and vision for their special day. I love being a special part of a bride's wedding morning and feeling their excitement, nerves, love, and anticipation. It almost keeps me in touch with those feelings I had on my own wedding day.

What inspires you? I find inspiration in so many places, but often other makeup and hair artists and what they are creating really inspires me. I also love following celebrities, and seeing the beauty and fashion trends they are wearing.

Who is your mentor/hero in the industry? (your own industry or the Niagara wedding industry) I really love Mario Dedivanovic's work (@makeupbymario) and was extremely lucky to be able to attend his masterclass in Toronto a couple years ago. Very inspiring!

On your day off...where would we find you? Probably with my two little girls! Being a Momtrepreneur is one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs because I'm lucky to be able to do something I love, but still spend a lot of precious time with my kids.

If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? Interior designer. I really love anything that's creative and involves pretty things!

What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? For 2019 we are seeing a lot more natural makeup looks being requested, still a lot of natural tones (browns, golds, pinks), luminous dewy skin is in! Gone are the days of super matte skin. For hair, more of the undone look, so no more really stiff formal updo’s, but messy, low ones. And a lot of brides are choosing to wear their hair down in either loose or structured waves and curls.

Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Don't forget about your makeup and hair! I find that brides sometimes wait until the last minute to book their bridal beauty vendor, and are sorry to hear we are booked up for their date. Brides are booking us up to 18 months prior to their date to ensure they get the glam squad they want.

Also, when thinking about your desired makeup and hair look, it's nice to go on Instagram and Pinterest for inspiration, but you have to remember those images are heavily processed, and what you see sometimes can't be achieved with an artist's hand alone, a lot of computer editing takes place after.
