“The overall vibe we envisioned for this shoot was retro-chic, playful and fun, with mid-century modern elements – featuring a newly-engaged couple in love on a Sunday brunch date. Motel Restaurant in Hamilton, with its pink walls, turquoise floors, and neon signage, was the perfect setting for our couple as they enjoyed the restaurant's showstopper menu item - champagne pancakes. Decadent and delicious, the stack is topped with whipped cream, raspberry and pink champagne coulis, and to top it off - edible gold flakes!
After brunch, we envisioned the couple would enjoy a slow stroll through their neighbourhood, stopping by the local flower truck for some fresh blooms. They'd end their afternoon discovering some cute spots right in their own neighbourhood - like a fun wall mural, as well as a local laundromat that coincidentally shares the same vintage, nostalgic feel of the restaurant.”
