Our shoot concept was to bring boho-chic to the countryside. By tying in subtle fall colours for inspiration and natural styling, our design goal was to meld the love for the 21st Boho style with an appreciation of southern charm in an outdoor setting. For a venue, I knew instantly there was no other choice than The Old Schoolhouse in Caledon, Ontario. Built in 1879, The Old Schoolhouse, Caledon is a heritage site with the original School house on the property. This serves as their main wedding venue site with access to beautiful grounds for a barn or outdoor wedding. The entire property is full of these meticulous details that I cherish as a designer and played perfectly into the inspiration for this styled shoot’s profile.
