CATER ME PLEASE // VENDOR SPOTLIGHT
Today, we are really excited to go behind the scenes and share a spotlight feature with one of our newest Swish List members, Kiera, the owner of Cater Me Please. Cater Me Please offers custom wedding and event catering for all event types. They are mobile and travelling, with the ability to cook on and off site, as well as cater to all types of dietary restrictions.
A short description of what you do: I am the Director of Operations for Cater Me Please, and Lead Planner for our sister company, CMP Event Planning.
How long have you been working in the wedding industry? Eighteen years.
What makes your business unique? We allow our clients to create their own custom menus to bring their event visions to life. We also offer many upgrades and add-ons which include (but not limited to): Champagne Walls, Shot Walls, Charcuterie Walls, Bar Service, Event Planning, Fully Mobile, and we can cook right on site without kitchen access! We have almost every colour napkin, linen, upgraded cutlery, coloured glassware, etc.
Favourite part of your business? Working with all different kinds of clients and bringing their unique visions to life! Making new friends and vendor friends at every event we work!
On your day off...where would we find you? A day off in the wedding industry? Ha! I do like to enjoy a walk, hike, or beach visit when possible.
If you weren't a wedding vendor, what would be your dream job? A fire fighter. Fun fact - I am also a certified paramedic!
What great wedding trends are you seeing this year? No wedding parties! Interesting!
Do you have any practical advice for couples planning a wedding? Have FUN with it! Don't be afraid to drop traditions and be different.
