From the bride, Krystel:

“We held our ceremony at a winery, looking out onto the vineyard. We love visiting wineries and spend a lot of weekends in the Niagara-on-the-Lake region, so the location of the ceremony was very special to us. We also built the arch used as the ceremony backdrop with our bridal party which was decorated with draping by our florist.

One of our favourite wedding detail was the stationary used throughout the wedding. We had custom wedding invitation suites and we added a vellum wrap closed with a custom monogram wax seal. We also used our monogram wax seal to attach dry pressed baby breath flowers to each dinner menu. For the guest place cards, we had the guest’s name written in gold calligraphy on hexagon marble tiles which they could take home to use as coasters.

Another one of our favourite wedding detail was the wedding arch which we built ourselves from scratch. We designed and purchased the wooden beams, stained each piece and put the arch together at the venue the day prior with the help of our bridal party. The arch was draped with blush chiffon fabric and decorated by our florist with an asymmetrical design, including ivory spray roses, Tiffany roses, blue hydrangea and seeded eucalyptus. After the ceremony, the arch also placed behind us during the dinner reception.

The third favourite wedding detail was the décor of the wedding reception. Our reception was held in an outdoor tent lined with an ivory draping and string lighting. Our choice of colour was dusty blue, white with gold décor accents. We chose dusty blue table linen with white scallop rimmed charger plates and white cross back chairs. Each table had a beautiful floral arrangement of white hydrangea, blue delphinium, Tiffany roses, and seeded eucalyptus, with gold votive candles which created a very warm ambiance.”
