SOFT DETAILS AND TIMELESS STYLE: THE WEDDING DAY AESTHETIC
From the very first glance, Jennifer and Matthew’s wedding day embraced a garden party elegance that was both classic and timeless. Letterpress invitations tucked into blush envelopes set the tone, while his and hers vow books tied with pale pink ribbon added a heartfelt personal touch. The bride carried a stunning bouquet brimming with ranunculus, roses, cosmos, and flowing pink ribbons — just one of the many floral elements that contributed to one of the most aesthetically pleasing events we’ve seen.
floral-inspired bridesmaid looks
Each bridesmaid wore a gown in a complementary shade or floral print, adding beautiful texture and depth to the bridal party. Their varied looks blended seamlessly into the lush surroundings of Gracewood Estate, enhancing the romantic atmosphere of the day. The mix-and-match approach brought a fresh, modern twist to a classic garden party wedding, while still feeling cohesive and refined. Against the backdrop of Gracewood Estate’s lush vineyard and manicured grounds, the bridesmaids’ looks were both romantic and timeless — perfectly suited for an outdoor wedding in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY WITH VINEYARD VIEWS
Jennifer and Matthew exchanged vows beneath a canopy of trees that backed onto the vineyard — a gorgeous spot that showcased the beautiful views of this perfect venue. Guests were welcomed by thoughtfully styled florals and a basket of parasols to provide shade from the summer sun. The ceremony itself took place in front of a semi-circle of florals, creating an intimate focal point filled with golden light and emotion.
As the sun dipped lower, the celebration continued with a beautifully curated cocktail hour. Guests mingled over passed charcuterie boards, bite-sized hors d’oeuvres, and signature cocktails: a classic Negroni for him, and a sparkling Rosé French 75 for her.
elegant tent reception and garden-inspired florals
The outdoor wedding reception took place under a grand tent, with live-edge harvest tables, wooden Chiavari chairs, and chandeliers adding a rustic-meets-refined charm. Posts wrapped in climbing greenery framed the space, while tables were dressed with flowing chiffon runners, taper candles, and floral centrepieces in soft creams, pale oranges, buttery yellows, and romantic pinks. It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful place to gather with loved ones and celebrate.
The wedding cake was a true show-stopper: a two-tier masterpiece that paid homage to the bride’s gown and the day’s floral palette. One tier featured intricate textures inspired by her dress, while the other bloomed with delicate sugar flowers.
Every element of the wedding was designed with care. From white and pale grey stationery with deckled edges to a hanging bar menu surrounded by florals, no detail was overlooked. Even the cocktail napkins and favour bags were monogrammed and featured delicate illustrations that tied in the wedding’s design story. Gracewood offers different areas that allow each moment — from ceremony to late-night dancing — to feel distinct, yet cohesive.
a sweet ending to the best day
As evening fell, the bride changed into a shorter reception dress, guests gathered around a champagne tower, and dancing began under the stars. A gelato cart provided a sweet finale to what can only be described as the best day in a perfect place. The delicious food, thoughtful details, and emotional moments shared between Jennifer and Matthew made this celebration unforgettable.
