The goal of this session was to create a moody shoot that captures the colours of a late fall day; that Dark November sky that could bring snow or rain, the crispy leaves that have turned beyond their fall colour to an ashen grey, churning dark water at the beaches edge a bit foreboding - all a bit intriguing.

From the snow lightly falling to help create some romantic images, to cuddling up with some hot chocolate to keep warm, Maddy and Brandon braved the cold so we could capture memories to last a lifetime.

A couple of wishes came true for them on their day as well: they were able to have their fur babies there with them for a few photos, and it even snowed in the evening for an outdoor snowy photo!

The joy of sharing wedding inspiration in the winter is that we fall into this funny little timing where anything goes -- one day it's the summer and we're picnicking in a vineyard, and the next day the leaves are a symphony of autumn colour and we're cozied up in historic Niagara on the Lake.
