Jessica and Joe met at a Buffalo Bills game and hit it off instantly, but the catch, one lived in Buffalo and the other in Toronto. Distance did not stop these two lovebirds, as they traveled back and forth to Buffalo and Toronto to spend time with one another during the weekends, and on one flight together to Banff, Joe proposed to Jessica on top of a mountain.
“I find inspiration in likely and unlikely places. People, cultures, landscapes, organic elements, colours, words, authenticity. I love to be playful and juxtapose styles for a theme that captures the hosts.”
Alison and Steve’s romantic wedding was held at the Spice Factory in Hamilton, and perfectly planned by Shaw Events. Exposed brick, and twinkle lights created a warm romantic feel, and French inspired tables with fresh blush flowers in aged gold vases were the centrepieces.
Mikylah and Kyle’s romantic day took place at Kurtz Orchards in Niagara-on-the-Lake with family and friends, and no detail was left untouched. The couple’s playful personalities were evident throughout the day, from the cheeky signage to the whimsical vibes; love and romantic energy enveloped guests from beginning to end.
“I have a love for love. A passion to capture the purest of emotions. And a drive to craft your story into a fine art wedding film. It's not just your wedding that's recorded, it's your unique love story that's skillfully stitched into a film. Your love story that's shown to the world in a unique and very customized way to who you are.”
"A beautiful autumn wedding at Kurtz Orchards from Nikki Mills Photography and Shaw Events. As seen last week on Gusto's 'Where to I Do?' - Canada's newest reality show about finding the perfect wedding venue, Sarah and Dave's intimate celebration in Niagara on the Lake proved to be a day that would impress their guests from beginning to end. Sarah and Dave had the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony - set in front of Gracewood's Tulip Tree. Their love was evident through the entire ceremony - and resonated through their smiles, the brides endearing laugh, and the way they looked at each other. And the way they showed their love for not only each other, but for their guests? Immediately following the ceremony, the bride and groom took time from photos and gave a champagne toast - to their guests - thanking them for coming from near and far to celebrate them! After a classic Kurtz Orchards charcuterie style cocktail hour, the guests were shuttled to the Market Building for a delicious meal surrounded by stunning centrepieces by bloom and co. Sarah and Dave finished their night with a sparkler send off, and a quiet dance under the stars." - Danielle Shaw, Shaw Events

With Dundurn Castle as the backdrop to this stunning bridal photo shoot, we can’t help but feel like we’ve been transported into a fairytale. Dreamy details nicely complement the modern twist, as the bride, in her stunning empire wedding dress, awaits her beloved for the start of their own happily ever after.
"On the day of this shoot, the most amazing fog rolled in and provided an atmosphere that one usually only dreams of for a styled shoot. It was too perfect for this moody and rugged, yet enchanting and romantic shoot on a private beach in Port Dalhousie. The main tablescape and cake display were rustic, full of weathered woods, teamed up with brass accents and subtle shades of blue that tied in with the natural landscape, the shoreline of Lake Ontario. The candlelight, sheer linens and floral palette softened the look, and paired perfect with the ethereal ballgown and vintage inspired accessories for our bride."
“I enjoy getting to know my clients and building long-term relationships with them. I love to know that I have connected families together to create the most beautiful memories that they will cherish for a lifetime!”
Dani and Kris’ intimate cocktail-style wedding at Cherry Avenue Farms in Vineland, Ontario, caused some stir here at Vineyard Bride, for all the right reasons.
Beautifully captured by Elizabeth In Love and styled by Danielle Shaw of Shaw Events, Dani and Kris were surrounded by family, friends, twinkling lights and the sunset. They stood under a large mature tree, with their uncle officiating, and declared their forever to one another.
“Splurge a little when it comes to your beauty. It is what you will see captured in your photos forever. It is what dictates your state of mind for the whole day. It is the artist you spend your whole morning with that will present what kind of energy will surround you in those first hours. You want to feel calm, confident and most of all comfortable in your own skin.”
After months of planning and dreaming, we are thrilled to share the news of Vineyard Bride's much anticipated fourth wedding show, The First Look! Whether you're getting married or know someone who is, we hope you'll join us in celebrating the beauty of wedding planning in Niagara's Wine Country.
“By seeking to highlight your own love story and the true values of your heart you can have a wedding that is not only steeped with gorgeous details, you can work with trustworthy, professional vendors who will understand your vision and serve you with their whole hearts.”
“What inspires me are all things nature and flora. I'm inspired by the changing seasons and always use flowers that are in season, or better yet, that I can forage from my own gardens to give that special/natural/garden-style touch.”
By keeping things effortless and natural while infusing a few modern and glam elements, this editorial is the definition of romance. Lucy Tran Photography beautifully captured the day, telling our story of a couple in love on their wedding day at Gracewood Estates in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The bride and groom had said "throughout our entire planning process we thought about what we would enjoy, what would make the day more fun, what would make it more pleasant for our guests? This was how we made every decision."
"Brad and I met at summer camp when we were both teenagers, so having our wedding take place somewhere that really reflected our love for the outdoors with a relaxed and intimate feeling was incredibly important to us! Finding Honsberger Estate Winery brought this dream to life and allowed us to have an outdoor ceremony that was the perfect mix of elegance and rustic.
This exquisitely fashioned chorus of harmonious themes; of diffused shades of soft carnation pink and lily white, of the contrast created between a subdued colour palette and the ever-engaging pull of springtime greenery in its fullest, would be the driving inspiration for our latest style shoot, “Magnolia Tree”.
At One Tree Studio, we are all about family. We treat our photography team like family and our clients become part of the family too. Our goal is to foster a long, trusted relationship with everyone we serve and we count it a real privilege to photograph so many special people.
